A gallery site exhibiting film-photography work. Built on WordPress (GeneratePress), it serves 900+ high-resolution photos fast and responsively.
Problem
Film photos have large originals (up to 4 MB+ each), which are heavy to serve as-is. The site also needed organization and room to grow.
Approach
Lightweight GeneratePress combined with ACF for structured artwork metadata and EWWW Image Optimizer for automatic WebP conversion and responsive image generation — cutting transfer size while preserving quality. WPCode handles analytics tags and Media Sync streamlines bulk image import.
